Dave Cook

Managing Director

With over 30 years of experience in the Security industry, Dave established Comprehensive Fire and Security Solutions in 2017. His grit and determination to offer the market a streamlined and bespoke service has won him some lucrative contracts with some highly valued clients. When Dave talks about his business and his ideas for the future of CFS, his passion for the industry is evident and it is clear to see why clients come on board, as the passion is infectious. When Dave gets some time to himself, though that can be rare, he likes a trip to the races and is regularly seen on days out with his grandchildren and his lovely wife Pam.

Pam Cook

Director

Since Comprehensive Fire and Security Solutions began in 2017, Pam has been a crucial cog in the machine, she heads up our passenger services providing vital transport for social care clients. Being one of the husbands and wife team, Pam also enjoys downtime with her grandchildren, her lovely dog Frankie and getting a sunny holiday in when the occasion arises.

Craig Edwards

Security Team Leader

Craig has over 8 year of experience of working on the security team at Bishop Grosseteste University. So, it was only right that when CFS won the BGU contract in 2018, that Craig became an official member of the CFS team. It was then that Craig became team leader at this site. His hard work and dedication in this role continue to be evident and when he isn’t leading his team, he enjoys learning new things, recently completing an Open University course in Cyber Security.

Dave Thomas

Security Team Leader

Dave has a professional working relationship with our MD which spans in excess of 25 years, so when Comprehensive Fire and Security Solutions was established, it made sense that he would become a hugely valued member of the team. Heading up our Patrol and Response Team, Dave has worked for CFS since December 2017. When he isn’t at work, Dave is a keen photographer and enjoys going on holidays with his wife.

Kyle Walker

Night Security Officer

Kyle has been with Comprehensive Fire and Security Solutions since July 2019. When he isn’t spending quality time and making memories with his fiancée and daughter, you’ll find him on site at Bishop Grosseteste University keeping staff, students and buildings safe. Kyle really enjoys being part of a friendly and supportive team and really appreciates the work/life balance this role allows him to have.

Darren Coggan

Security Officer

Since August 2018, Darren has been a Security Officer for Comprehensive Fire and Security Solutions, gaining knowledge and training alongside his job role to develop his skills. When Darren isn’t working, you’ll find him in the great outdoors as much as possible with his son and girlfriend, where they really enjoy having days out together.

 “One of my favourite things about working for CFS is the training courses we do. There are always opportunities to gain knowledge and experience, through different courses the company offers to staff. I feel these courses help us deal with various situations, both at work and in day to day life.”

Robert Atkin

Security Officer

Since May 2019, Rob has been a valued member of the CFS team and can usually be found supporting his colleagues at Bishop Grosseteste University. Guitar playing and scale miniature painting are both passions of his when not on duty, along with spending time with his partner and their vast array of pets.

Comprehensive Fire and Security have been lucky enough to have Chris working with them since March 2018, providing essential security services throughout Lincoln. Chris is a keen gamer and enjoys working with CFS because it gave him the step into the security industry he had been looking for.

Night Security Officer

Having had a working relationship with Dave for over 20 years in the industry, Philip joined the team upon the establishment of Comprehensive Fire and Security Solutions in 2017. He has since taken up night duties at local student accommodation and when he is not at work, he can be found spending time with his wife at home. “I enjoy keeping my training and skills up to date with the regular courses provided by CFS and Dave is great to work for.

Heather Elliott

PA to the Managing Director

Heather joined the team in June 2020, after moving to the area. Having worked in various sectors over the years, including overseas, she has settled in Lincoln with her family and really enjoys her role with Comprehensive Fire and Security Solutions. Out of work hours, Heather enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her daughter and husband.

John Morley

Marketing Manager

John looks after all our online marketing ensuring CFS reach their target audience. We operate across Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as well as utilising email marketing to reach both our clients and prospective clients. John has over 10 years of experience in online marketing and in his spare time he loves being a Dad and exercising, when time allows.

Amanda Batham

Business Development Manager

Amanda joined the team to support our MD in growing the business to secure larger accounts using her skills around growth development, branding, marketing and business trouble shooting. She is a true asset to the team due to her extensive years of experience in business mapping and planning, and is a chartered member of the Institute of Marketing. Out of work hours, Amanda is a lover of sport and can often be found on her race bike, or skiing in France. She is currently working on a renovation project which is keeping her very busy.

Chris Owen

Senior Health and Safety Consultant

Running a successful business himself, Optimum Safety Management Ltd, Chris is our chief Health and Safety Advisor providing all our Health and Safety documentation, health and safety training and assists in gaining our safe contractor accreditation. Since CFS, began he has helped us ensure we are ticking all the right boxes where Health and Safety is concerned and doing a great job of it too! Outside of his career, Chris is a cycling enthusiast regularly seen on his road bike on Lincolnshire’s roads, or at home spending time with his wife and two children.
